IfKW Executive Board
The Institute for Communication Science and Media Research is an independent department within the Faculty of Social Sciences at LMU. The management committee comprises all professors in the department, a representative of the mid-level academic staff, and the faculty's women's representative. In addition, the dean, the office management, the persons responsible for program coordination, the substitute professors, and the heads of junior research groups have an advisory vote. The student council of the department also has an advisory vote.

All organizational matters at the IfKW are coordinated under the direction of the department office, currently headed by Dr. Bernhard Goodwin. Members of the committee include colleagues from the degree program coordination team, the deputy department head, and representatives for public relations, international affairs, and mid-level faculty.

Central secretary: Barbara Weber
The central secretariat (room A003) is available for general inquiries, submitting assignments, and picking up certificates. It is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Outside of opening hours, please use the mailbox next to the door to the secretariat to submit assignments and other documents.
